If you are or want to become a member of Cyclo Studio and you want to use our services/products, we like to make clear and transparent agreements with our customers. By signing up, you declare acceptance of the general terms and conditions of Cyclo Studio and act accordingly.

The General Terms and Conditions can be found at https://cyclostudio.be/algemene-voorwaarden/ and can be requested at any studio.

These Terms and Conditions come into effect from April 1, 2024, and are valid for any new subscription concluded from that date.

Cyclo Studio: By this we mean

Studio: The physical place where Cyclo Studio’s activities are offered.
Instructor: Our on-site employee who guides the sporting activities.
Effective Date: The effective date of your agreement is the same as the day of your enrollment.
Member: You can become a member at Cyclo Studio if you are a natural person and 16 years of age or older.
Agreement: the agreement created between Cyclo Studio and the member through enrollment. These general terms and conditions belong to the agreement.
Turn cards formula: The member makes a one-time purchase of X number of turns to be used within the provided period. For a 10-turn card, the expiration period is 12 months.
Subscription formula: through this formula, a member can subscribe to unlimited Cyclo Studio classes over a certain period.

You can join Cyclo Studio in the following ways:

1. Visit www.cyclostudio.be by completing the online registration form.
2. At the studio, by filling out the subscription form on site.

If you register through the website, with the subscription formula, you can cancel your membership within 7 calendar days of the registration day without giving reasons. You can do this by contacting us by email & providing us with all necessary information.

If you decide to renounce the subscription formula within the 7 calendar days reflection period, and the membership has not been used, this withdrawal is free of charge. If the membership has been used during this period, Cyclo Studio may charge a prorated fee for the membership (from the activation of the membership to the day of the withdrawal, including any subscription fee).

1. Cyclo Studio has several memberships, all of which can be found on our website (cyclostudio.be). All membership forms (except drop-in classes & First 2 rides) are entitled to free access to all indoor facilities of Cyclo Studio, this of course, within the indicated opening hours.
2. We have two main formulas:
   1. The turn card
   2. The subscription formula

 Turn cards allow free access to all Cyclo Studio indoor facilities + X number of visits to group classes during the validity period of the subscription.

The subscription formula pays the member a certain amount per month and thus entitles him/her to free access to all Cyclo Studio’s indoor facilities + unlimited number of visits to group classes in a given period.

All our subscription formulas can be entered into for:

1. 1 year fixed with an automatic renewal if no notice of termination is given for an indefinite period and with a payment of 39,99 euros every 4 weeks, or
2. 1 year fixed, where the agreement ends automatically and you pay in advance at once.
3. A flexible variant: fixed for 4 weeks with automatic renewal for an indefinite period, with a payment of 45 euros per month.
   
   The notice period here is 4 weeks. That is for example: If on September 17 you decide to stop the flexi variant, one more payment follows 4 weeks later.

1. All membership types have their membership fees and terms, which can be found on the Cyclo Studio website.
2. If you are joining Cyclo Studio for the first time, we may charge a one-time administration fee. This only needs to be paid once.
3. If you become a member at Cyclo Studio with the subscription formula, you owe membership fees @ the time of registration. The SEPA direct debit authorization will also take effect from that time. All membership fees are due and payable in advance.
4. Cyclo Studio also offers its members the option to pay in advance in one go for the agreed contract period through online payment or on-site at the studio (if you choose a one-year agreement with full prepayment). In this case, no 4-week SEPA direct debit will be initiated.
5. If you choose a subscription formula with payment every 4 weeks, the first payment will be made at registration by an online payment and subsequent payments will be made every 4 weeks via SEPA direct debit and at the established rates for that membership. Our payment period is 4 weeks. This means that we perform 13 direct debits per year. Once a year this may result in two direct debits in a calendar month.
6. In the event that the subscription qualifies as an agreement of unlimited duration (the unlimited subscriptions), Cyclo Studio is entitled to adjust its rates once a year according to the consumer price index. Price indexing will be done according to the following formula: new price = old price × (last published index figure/index figure of previous pricing). The customer will be informed of the indexation in a timely manner, at least one month prior to it taking effect. The customer accepts that the notification is via e-mail or through the statement of account. The customer retains the right to terminate the agreement free of charge as a result of the indexation.
7. If we cannot debit your payment (e.g., reversal, insufficient balance, etc.), we will send the direct debit again to your bank. If you do not fulfill your payment obligation, your membership card will be blocked until the payment obligation is fulfilled.
8. If you do not fulfill your payment obligation even after we have given you notice of default, you will be in default. At that time, we are entitled to the amounts due, increased by the legal interest rate (calculated from the due date of the amounts due), as well as to a lump sum compensation of 10% on the outstanding amounts with a minimum of 50 EUR for all extrajudicial costs. However, we reserve the right to claim higher compensation, subject to proof of the damage actually incurred. We also reserve the right to terminate the agreement with immediate effect, without any compensation being due to you for this. We have the right to outsource the claim, including to a collection agency.

1. Cyclo Studio indicates the opening hours for each studio. There may be circumstances where different opening hours apply, such as a holiday, serious event or disaster. Sometimes we will then close a club. This may also be the case if, for example, we need to perform work in a club.
2. Cyclo Studio is entitled to change the opening hours of a studio temporarily or permanently, if there are objective reasons to do so. In case of a permanent change, Cyclo Studio will be able to do this unilaterally.
3. The opening hours can never later be raised as an absolute condition for entering into the agreement. Nor will you be able to use such an adjustment to unilaterally terminate the agreement.
4. If after closure or relocation of a studio there is no other studio in a 10 km street, you can terminate the agreement free of charge and without notice from the moment of closure or relocation.

1. Stopping an unlimited subscription is ONLY possible in case of a move (see explanation below), Freezing an unlimited subscription is ONLY possible in case of an injury (see explanation below).
2. If you move, you can continue to exercise at our studios. If there is no studio within a radius of 10 km from your new home address, we will give you the option to end your contract early, subject to a notice period of at least 4 weeks. In that case, we will ask you to prove your new home address with a copy of your municipal registration (which may not be older than 3 months).
3. We hope you will join us in good health. You may make use of the possibility to suspend your membership for medical reasons in all membership forms under the conditions defined below: membership can only be suspended upon receipt by Cyclo Studio of a valid medical certificate (via e-mail or by mail) indicating that the Member is temporarily unable to exercise fitness; the medical certificate will suggest at least 1 month of required suspension from the day the certificate is sent to Cyclo Studio.

The suspension shall take effect from the day of its receipt by Cyclo Studio and shall not operate retroactively; the suspension shall always be for a definite duration and shall end on the prescribed date of the medical certificate; the suspension shall shift the duration of the contract by the period of the suspension.

If the medical certificate or proof of relocation is not provided until after the initiation of legal proceedings to recover the membership fees due, they will no longer be accepted.

1. If within a subscription formula, you have entered into an agreement for the duration of one year, you can cancel it no later than 4 weeks before the end of the term. If you do not do so, the agreement will be extended for an indefinite period of time and can then be terminated at any time without compensation subject to a notice period of at least 4 weeks.
2. If you have entered into a contract that can be terminated flexibly, you can terminate it at any time without compensation subject to a notice period of at least 4 weeks, which will start on the first day of the next 4-week payment period.
3. You can cancel your agreement in several ways. You can do this online via the website or by email to info@cyclostudio.be.

We strive to create an environment in the studios where everyone respects each other and the rules are followed. If you do not comply with the terms of the agreement, or if you seriously and/or repeatedly do not comply with the house rules or show unacceptable behavior, Cyclo Studio may deny you access to the clubs and terminate the agreement (immediately). termination.

Should you wish to participate in Cyclo Studio group classes, clients should note the cancellation policy. At www.cylostudio.be, you can cancel 3 hours in advance.

The class schedule has a “cancel” button that usually says “register.” if you do this more than 3 hours before the class, there are no consequences.

If the client fails to cancel in time, then with a turn card, the turn is unfortunately lost. Unlimited subscriptions have the advantage that we tolerate two late cancellations per year with no consequences.

For the third late cancellation, we charge a 10 euro penalty per late cancellation. Cyclo Studio gives itself the right to block the customer’s account until the payment of 10 euros is made.

The client can cancel 3 hours in advance & has two late cancellations.

We will not consider late cancellations, even for reasons beyond your control.

What happens if attendance is too low?
It will be automatically canceled if 3 clients or fewer are registered 75 minutes before a class starts. Clients will be notified by email.

1. Playing sports can involve risks. If you use our facilities, it is up to you to assess what you can handle. You remain responsible for the way you exercise and the choices you make. Use of the facilities is at your own risk. When in doubt about your physical condition, we advise you to seek expert advice from a doctor or specialist to determine what is the right and feasible way for you to exercise.
2. Cyclo Studio & its employees are not liable for any material or immaterial damage resulting from an accident or injury you sustain in our clubs, when using our equipment with the exception of personal injury caused by acts or omissions of Cyclo Studio.
3. We advise you not to bring valuables to the studios.

Cyclo Studio is not liable for damage, loss or theft of property.

In order to execute your agreement, we have your personal data. Cyclo Studio processes your personal data in a proper and careful manner and within the framework of the applicable laws and regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG).

1. Changes in your personal situation (e.g. address or bank details) should be communicated immediately via e-mail to the customer service department.
2. If these changes are not communicated and if Cyclo Studio has to incur costs to retrieve the new personal data, these costs will be charged to the member.

1. These General Terms and Conditions and all contracts entered into by or with Cyclo Studio are governed exclusively by Belgian law.
2. All disputes arising from the agreement between the member and Cyclo Studio will be judged by the competent court in the place where the studio is located.
